One of the most famous courses in Spain, Mijas Los Lagos is a popular choice with golfers booking tee times in the Costa del Sol
Suitable for golfers of all levels, Los Lagos has wide gently undulating fairways with not too many trees to act as obstacles. However, it is defended by many bunkers, and there are no less than nine lakes (from which the course gets its name), ready to punish errant shots.
In 2012, the course underwent a total renovation, and while still faithful to Robert Trent Junior’s original design, many improvements were carried out, including enlarging the greens and tee boxes.
